Day 19 - leaving beautiful Cornwall behind

My last day in Cornwall was a mixed bag. A good start, a disappointing middle and a great finish.

I had a bit of a lie in today and didn't leave until 7.30, but that probably wasn't a great decision as it was baking by 9. Fortunately the rerouting of the path after Millendreath actually helped as it was diverted inland into woodland and that provided lots of shade. The section until Downderry was up and down, but after Portwrinkle it was easy walking. Unfortunately the section beginning before Freathy and  up until Ramis Head was hugely disappointing. Miles of road walking with not much in the way of views and always having to watch for traffic. Unfortunately it was very busy on that stretch and I even saw a bus! Something I haven't seen since Falmouth.

The final leg from Cawsand to Cremyll (where the ferry runs to Plymouth) was beautiful. The first view of  Plymoith Sound and some lovely trails through Mount Edgecombe country park.

Anyway, my feet are very sore, but the erupting blisters haven't materialised thanks to plasters.

Sorry less photos, but enjoy anyway.
