Monday - Day 17 - captain slog

The day started in the most fantastic way with a water taxi ride from the Falmouth harbour to Place (the point on the Rosland peninsula where the swcp is rejoined). £15 for the best taxi ride ever.

The Roseland peninsula is beautiful with ancient woodland and fantastic sea and estuary views. The first part of the walk was around the headland and then moving up to porthcatho, which seems pretty unspoilt and not touristy. The walk then continued up to Portloe Where i stopped for lunch and to rest my feet. Fortunately it wasn't as hot today, but it still managed to be testing and I needed to take on liquid.

Unfortunately the second half of the walk turned out to be a real slog as the condition of the path was really poor. It was very overgrown and at times undefined. I didn't stop too much to take photos. I was too busy looking where to put my feet!

Anyway, hopefully the photos are quality rather than quantity.
